My name is Kathleen Wallace. I am a licensed massage therapist in the state of North Carolina. I have an associates degree in the applied sciences of therapeutic massage from Sandhills Community College. I am originally from Silver Spring, Maryland. I moved to North Carolina in 2004. I am a proud daughter of a retired federal police officer. I abide by the rules and regulations of the North Carolina board of massage. I am also a proud member of the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association). I am married and a mother of three. I love animals and people. I started working on my massage career in 2014 and my goal in working in this profession was to help people. I love what I do. This is the most rewarding profession, I think, because people are so appreciative when they feel better. It just makes me feel good to know I can do something that makes a difference. The most important thing I want people to know is not to be ashamed of their bodies. Everyone has imperfections. A body is a body. Massage therapists do not care about fat, cellulite, hairy legs, or ugly feet. All we concern ourselves with are the muscles that lie beneath!
